Building iPhone and Android apps with Javascript!
December 20, 2009 in Gadgets, Tech, Usability by Brandon Corbin
Last month I found Titanium, a powerfully simple platform that helps you build native iPhone and Adroid apps (mac, linux and windows too) with only HTML, CSS and Javascript – the designers coding trifecta.
Titanium has helped fulfill a fantasy of mine dating back to 2007 when I got my first iPhone. The freedom to build my own personal portable web enabled software. Unfortunately, I found Objective-C “Cocoa” drastically different from anything I have done before – and thus never found the passion to learn it. So my personal iPhone apps dream died, until last month. Thanks guys!
Titanium is FREE and runs on Mac, Windows and Linux – (I’m pretty sure you will need a Mac to build iPhone apps).
